Kauniissa jokivarsimaisemassa sijaitseva porotilamme tarjoaa vierailijoille ainutlaatuisen tilaisuuden kurkistaa poronhoidon arkipäivään, oppia ikivanhasta elinkeinosta ja kohdata sarvipäät lähietäisyydeltä.

Olipa kyseessä perheen yhteinen retki tai suurempi vierailija ryhmä, vierailu meillä jättää lämpimän muiston pitkäksi aikaa.

Vierailun aikana pääset aidosti kohtaamaan puolivillit porot, näkemään niiden luonnetta ja miten niitä hoidetaan ja käsitellään arjessa.

Halutessasi pääset myös kokemaan perinteisen ja tunnelmallisen rekiajelun poron kyydissä.

1. POROTILAVIERAILU

Vierailun aikana pääset:

• Kuulemaan mehukkaita kertomuksia porotilan arjesta ja poronhoidon salaisuuksista sekä mitä kaikkea poronhoitovuosi pitää sisällään
• Näkemään poroja lähietäisyydeltä, silittämään sekä mahdollisesti syöttämään jäkälää
• Vierailun kesto 1h
• Minimi 4 henk, maximi 30 henk.
• Vain ennakkoon tilattaessa

2. POROREKIAJELU + POROTILAVIERAILU

Vierailun aikana pääset:

• Kuulemaan mehukkaita kertomuksia porotilan arjesta ja poronhoidon salaisuuksista sekä mitä kaikkea poronhoitovuosi pitää sisällään
• Näkemään poroja lähietäisyydeltä, silittämään sekä mahdollisesti syöttämään jäkälää
• n.10min rekireissu, jossa pääset maistamaan porokyydin perinteistä taikaa oppaan kanssa.
• Vierailun kesto max. 1,5h (Huomiothan että vierailun aika perustuu henkilömäärään)
• Minimi 4 henk., maximi 20 henk.
• Vain ennakkoon tilattaessa 

Pukeuduthan molemmille vierailuille lämpimillä kengillä sekä ulkovaatteilla.

Situated in a beautiful riverside setting, our reindeer farm offers visitors a unique opportunity to get a glimpse into the daily life of reindeer herding, learn about this ancient livelihood, and meet the antlered animals up close.

Whether it is a family outing or a visit by a larger group, a trip to our farm creates warm, lasting memories.

During your visit, you will have the chance to truly connect with semi-wild reindeer, observe their personalities, and see how they are cared for and handled in everyday life.
If you wish, you can also experience a traditional and atmospheric reindeer sleigh ride.

We offer two different services ->

1. REINDEER FARM VISIT
During the visit, you will:

• Hear fascinating stories about daily life on the reindeer farm, the secrets of reindeer herding, and what the herding year entails

• See reindeer up close, pet them, and potentially feed them some lichen.
• Minimum 4 persons, maximum 30 persons.
• Duration of the visit: 1 hour
• Only request basis

2. REINDEER SLED RIDE + REINDEER FARM VISIT 

During the visit, you will: 

• Hear fascinating stories about daily life on the reindeer farm, the secrets of reindeer herding, and what the herding year entails 
• See reindeer up close, pet them, and potentially feed them some lichen 
• Enjoy an approx. 10-minute sled ride, experiencing the traditional magic of a reindeer-pulled sleigh with your guide
• Minimum 4 persons, maximum 20 persons.
• Visit duration: max. 1.5 hours (Please note that the duration of the visit is based on the number of people)
• Only request basis
